I was wondering, does anyone know a good program for mac to use to have a online radio station?
I work for an online magazine and we want to do it so the people can go in and stream it and listen to it on itunes or whatever.

I think itunes has a big list of webstreams

i'm assuming that you want to stream your own content, right? if so, quicktime broadcaster does the job free... just send it to a QTSS or DarwinSS and you're set. easy to set up.

Is there anything similar for PC rather than Mac?

well, there once was shoutcase/icecast...but since nullsoft went bye bye, i don't know the status of those projects.
you could try peercast. it's a p2p based streaming system.
it could be pretty good for inter-office streams.

you can run a version of a QTSS on a pc if you need, but that still doesn't solve the problem of sending a stream to your server. an equal to MegaSeg for the PC would be ideal i suppose.
