Brochure bindery question

    Does anyone know of some new innovative designs for brochures and how theyre bound? The typical 11x17 folded in half is not working, especially when maintaining the PDF's for web viewing. Were trying to work with letter size sheets and a crafty way to bind, still keeping the PDF process simple. smthg like spiral wire or vellum, no staples...
