Has anyone here attended any of the five schools? I'm about to send in my application, i'm thinking LCC for my first choice. Let me know if you have any opinions. Thanks.

Nice photos kezza_2. I like the ones form Brazil the most. Did you enjoy the MA course? Where did you go for undergrad?

Hey Mont.
It was pretty great, I didnt learn that much, but the time out was good, and it was a really creative atmosphere.
send me an email and I'll give you a bit more detail later. Im a bit snowed under at the moment to give you more details...

what do u guys think of middlesex universiy's design for interactive media department ?

The London College of Comunications is defintly worth going to but make sure your 100% self motivated. I know so many students that think turning up to the lectures will get them a 1st. Also the librarians have a particulatly vindictive nature so make sure you return your books on time.
Good luck and remember you only get what you put in!

I did an MA at Chelsea School of Art & Design, and it was really shit, hardley any lectures and rotten personal tutors. I was doing it part time, but the full timers thought it was crap too.
A cash cow for the college i reckon

anthonysheret: I was feeling pretty good about my chances of getting in until I went to your site. Nice stuff

anthonysheret:
What course are you taking?
Do you know how many they accept?
- anthonysheret0
Foundation in Art & Design - Graphic Design Pathway.
I think they accept around 140 applicants, out of say 350 applying? Something like that anyway :) feel free to email me to ask anything ;)

Hi Im doing an BA at camberwell college of Arts, this is my third year. I wouln'd recomend any of the schools to someone that isn't quite self motivated. The whole institution is badly orginized and is living of old reputation. But if you are good working on your own then its great and you could just spend time in nice workshops and do your thing.

lobaat, i think this is true of most places., no ones going to spoon feed you, its more about having access to great equipment and like-minded talented people.

All design courses will only get you so far, the rest is up to you. Don't expect to get jobs handed to you on a plate after you graduate. Never give up hope and never give up your dreams. UK design institutions spit out some of the world's most creative individuals each year, if you want to be one of them, work hard and work smart.

I've just been accepted into LCC. Hooray. Does anyone know of a site to check for concerts in London? Something like pollstar or jambase but for England.
Thanks
