links to some good postcard designs? or folios with some good ones?
looking for design and also content structure... I have to do a card but don't know what to put on it for myself....

Are you talking about the front of the postcard or the back? The back will have to follow USPS guidelines.
I'd post some of my old designs, but they ain't very pretty (as per employer's orders).

no no....just design.... not sizes.... and its not a usps type thing...its a promotional handout....
no guidelines...free reign...I am getting promoted somewhere and I dont have the dough to do a brochure but I can do a postcard

modern postcard is very good. never had a bad experience with them.
as for guidelines, structure, etc. it's all there.

liquid, I think there is a reason you don't see too many postcards used as promotional material for graphic designers. It's hard to represent yourself on such a small space, but it's not a compact enough space to take away like a business card. I feel you, man.

exactly....thus my issue.... I am actually being written up on other material that is being written out and I will also be introduced to the crowd....
its more of like a stay in your face tactic....

sorry man i dont even have prelims yet. its all in my mind though..
i think for postcards its really open, given its an adequate space for you do doodle whatever your "style" permits.
so dont stress over the fact that its a postcard..
