i picked up the Sony Z500a not too long ago. It's dope! it makes a very satisfying click when close it.
but if you're willing to drop $500 on the RAZR...DO IT!

if you ask me MOTOROLA sucks badly. their phones are crap. a couple of months ago they decided to start making decent UI for their devices... but anyway you end up paying a lot for totally outdated product:(
their mediocrity made me reject any motorola product. i even don't want to find out is it good or not.
on the other side sony-ericsson is a top notch. i love'em. they have the best ui, both in graphical terms and usability; though sometimes can have signal problems but are worth money if you ask me... definitely.

bad reception, buttons dont work well if you hands are cold or sweatyand both phones are not water proof

don't get the razr, coworker had it for 2 days got rid of it because it ran out of battery every two hours

sony k700, user interface on Sony's are million times better. On motorolas multiple phone numbers mean multiple entries for people. But, RAZR is sickly thin, although if your phone gets to experience a rougher life, don't get the razr. Just like an anorexic model it snaps easily under too much pressure.
