  sup yall, i'm not trying to be a dj here... i'm just wanting to make simple mixes with songs flowing into one another.

  can anyone offer some info on any of these? MegaSeg, Traktor, Dekstacy, DJ-1800.

  clean intetrface? user-friendly? etc-

  I agree...Traktor is the best. You can manually mix or set it to auto mix. Of course you dont want auto. I use my oxeygen 8 as a controller and it works great. Use the pitch wheel like Im pushing the record to catch up and the slide wheel as the crossfader. Plus you can record the whole mix and export to a sound file and still dub in a new trackx without ruining the whole mix...

  agreed... traktor is teh shizzor..

  it's actually quite fun to watch tracktor catch the bpm and be accurate... i like trying to find music that has a lot of depth, to see if it can catch up :)
