Just finished watching (the original, obviously), seen it before, but could there be a more F'd up ending to a movie? Seriously, that might be the most disturbing movie of all time.

i saw in an interview that stephen king originally threw the book away, and his wife fished it out and published it.

I love that movie. Its the ultimate revenge movie. Left House on the Left is a good one too but a bit disturbing.

I saw requiem for a dream again the other day. sweet fucking christ that movie is messed up.
I dig stephen king. Reading the Dark tower series at the moment. Its fantastic! i'm up to book 4.

Why:
something as cruel as dumping pig blood on anyone?
her prom date keeps such a straight face througout the entire prom?
the horrible scene of her mom stabbing her in the back with a 12" knife?
the scene with a half dozen flying knives that kill the mother?And I do agree, Requim is up there.

Straw Dogs is really fucked up, I believe that therapy was needed for the actors.
I still think the ring is the most intense film Ive seen, although I did watch it on my own stoned.

"breakfast of champions" is a fun one with a fragile mind. i love vonegut's books too, at least you're brain doesnt fell assaulted like the movie!

The Ring was awesome the first time i saw it. I was hella toasted.
I made the unfortunate decision of seeeing it strait and was a bit dissapointed. What was the deal with the visions that came from no where to advance the plot???
I ended up figuring the husband guy was only in the movie to fill the plot holes.

I cant remember the name of the movie, but it was English I think and it had a young evil boy who killed his parents by 'thinking' the car down a hill and it knocked his parents off a cliff. Had some other fucked up stuff too. The end is where he flatlined in hospital then woke up...
