I been waiting for mine, for like almost 2 years.
Yes I do have a sponsor too, but after 9/11, things got extremely slow.
are you getting a h1b1?

meeklo: your waiting for your permanent or temporay one? i got a temporary one until i get my permanent wich i think will take another year atleast to get.( i'm year and a half into it)

Either I've missed something or you've been given incorrect information.
You can receive a TN visa at the Toronto airport when you enter the US. It will allow you to work for up to a year in the US for a single employer.
The requirements are:
- job title is recognized by NAFTA (info below)
- you have the proper experience
- you have an offer letter from your employer stating what you'll be doing, your start date, and your salaryThis site has tons of Visa info:

its related to YM, and MTV, so it would be from Toronto to LA, and it would be a Temp Visa, and for using my likeness... which only i could bring, (ie, someone in the US could not do that job, as I would 100% be needed for that particular situation)

reason i say this is because if you really only have 5 days.. thats a pretty short amount of time to turn around a sponsorship for a temp work visa... they're very hard to aquire.
