that will last a week, max.
- jevad0
alright! way to be positive!
- mg330
like minds think alike jevad?
Was just about to post something about that. It's promising, yet you will still have the Palestinian terrorists doing what they do.
If all goes well, you just watch over the coming months...
Bush will take full credit when in reality he has barely 10% to do with it. This is only now possible because Arafat is dead. True, Israel has been quite stubborn (refusing to talk to Arafat) but with that aside, the potential for success has very little to do with Bush.
But he will still pat himself on the back and try and act like the catalyst for peace.

you know it's true.
- jevad0
No I don't. Arafat is dead...it's a new dawn for israeli-palestinian relations.
Cynical bastards...

if it does last only a week, it's partially because the US is not committed to solving actual, realtime problems...

. . . .of course, the economic gain and stability of this region benefits the global community...and that would not be in our interest, so, we'll mockingly visit this region every so often...

don't get me wrong, i'd love to see peace between israel and palestine, but i expect to see something on CNN someday soon with gas canisters flying and people throwing stones n shit.

if Sharon dies, then maybe we can have a small glimmer of almost-hope

The image of youths throwing rocks at tanks will always be priceless.

it's a positive start. let's hope it goes further than the famous "road map"
- mg330
Clinton started the "road map" right?
- jevad0

Actually i think it was a Saudi/Coin Powell joint,
Bush didn't really want noffink to do wiv it all. He wos (maybe is) 'appy to jus' sit back and let the Israeli's tek care of shit however they see fit.
