Anyone got a recommendation?
I hate them, I have a real phobia but I have to go to one.
So any suggestions on a half decent one, central london would be better, don't care how much they charge they just have to be nice.
And also not shit themselves at the state of my gob....

Soda; man, you'll be lucky. I havent found one and I havent been in yeeeaers. My sister had a problem so she went to the walkin center in the Royal London (whitechapel) - she said it was like something out of a WWI field hospital - rows and rows of chairs with people in them being worked on my Dentists and student dentists. I think I have found my hell.

go local man. use http://www.yell.com

I used to go to the whitechapel.
downstairs was a nightmare but the dental institute upstairs was a lot better, it was a teaching hospital but that seemed to make it more bearable.
as for Yell, I would go that route but I was after anyone who knows a half decent one who isn't going to stick hot pins in my gums... or something...

I'll pull it out for a fiver.

my friend goes to one i think in west london she says is really good. Charges between £50-100 for doing something. Not sure what. Don't know the name or number of it. But she's always going on about how good it is, and how the NHS dentists are absolute shite that'll fuck up your teeth and you should never trust em. Next time i see her, i'll ask her, k bro?
peace

whitecross private dentist on Farringdon road... I had really really painful work done... but the lady there was really nice (this is back in 2001) so not sure if she is still there (she was greek, so had a very long surname)

and the dental nurse looked like liv tyler
- soda0
cheers James, I'll look that up.
The liv Tyler aspect is certainly... helpful in combating my dental phobia!Kuz and more info will be greatfully received!

fucking hell!
I've just seen some of the prices for dental work!!!
I was going to suggest take em out rather than fillin' em but it's more expensive to pull them out than fill them in!
- moth0
not if i do it.
£5 was a fair price.
Might I recommened Sir has a brandy before hand though...

heh.
that reminds me of being in Hamburg last summer, we were coming out of a bar in the morning and this pissed couple were trying to cycle home on one bike.
They were too far gone and the lad lost balance and landed flat on his face. The noise of teeth on concrete is an awful sound....we did have a giggle though.
And point probably....

Dental update:
Just got back from my local dentist, very nice it was too...
it's been 12 years since my last visit and get this, nothing wrong with my teeth!! Just needed some xrays, a clean and some intensive gum work! That's it!
How's that for a slice of fried gold?!?
Cost me 100 nicker though, not bad seeing as I had costed it up as about ten times that considering all the work I thought I was going to have done!!!
I'm well chuffed.... and I got my smile back!!!
