yeah keane's quite good for in the car. i call that 'driving music', i drive at lot in my job, and keane gets me around. there are similarities to ultravox in some of their stuff aswell. i like indie music and 80s music and i actually bought the keane cd at a motorway service station!

if you like keane i'd also recommend Rooney, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Postal Service.

Two very different things.
Keane were good on SNL, I've not wanted to buy their cd though.
Anyone like I Am Kloot? Very good, listening to it now.

saw them when they were just starting to get popular in the US. when i went to see them, the tickets weren't even sold out and they were like 8 bucks.
3 months later, they were on david letterman show. shortly afterwards, they toured the US again. this time, their show tix was 20 bucks.
amazing how bands can charge more in such short period...

Just saw them on SNL for the first time. Boourns. very boring. They are good at what they do, but their stage presences is kind of dry.
