Are there any ways inside dreamweaver to use other fonts than standard web fonts?

yes, make your text a .jpg or .gif, that's the only way.

properties - default fonts - edit font list - add your new ones.
careful, only a select few will work for html type and not everyone has more then your standard set of fonts.

that is not advisable by any means at all.
Stick with arial, verdana, tahoma, trebuchet ms, georgia, times and sans - and always use no less that four when you are declaring a font face....

what about sIFR text. I know it's Flash based, but it's not standard Flash animation.

Html uses the fonts already installed on the users system.
so as such unless you convert your text to an image or swf file users will not be able to view it

make a big swf and embed every freaking font into there....good to go.
