So I am learning to drive, at last. And I have got my theory test next week WED.
This thing is bloody hard. You have to revise 900 odd question. They can pick any 35 Q from the 900 and you have to answer 30 of them right to PASS. 95%
And that is only harth the test.
Any Tips, Advise.

5 errors on 35 questions? dude, that's sweet. in holland it's 5 on 60.
- dippy0
in some states in the US, it's 6 of 30. That's why New Jersey drivers suck.

5-60. Woooooo. But how many Q:

I wouldn’t worry bout the questions pal there easy, common sense. I d worry bout the hazard perception part of the test, that’s a bitch.

i had 5 questions, i got them all right. the questions were like "what has 8 sides, red, and has the letters 'P, O, T, S' in it?"
just move to USA, make life easier.

' Any Tips, Advise.'
simply answer the questions correctly and you'll have no problems...

im soooo glad i passed mines a good few years before they brought in the written test.
i have in fact passed my driving test twice. and first time both times!
lol, i was banned for 3 months and had to resit my test after a whopping crash being a silly bastard racin' 18 year old. wrecking my mums vauxhall frontera taking out a lampost, a wall and a bmw in the process.
i shouldnt laugh about it now (but i suppose i can cos everyone was ok) but dangerous driving is a serious offence - but the BMW i hit was a really really old one and the owner (i found out afters) had just spent thousands doing it up to original spec as he was an enthusiast.
no wonder my mates had to hold him back from killing me after the crashso when you do pass mate, drive carefully.
im just bored at work lol, hence all the long posts/replies today hehe

Do you have to take a Hazard Perception test . shame.?

the test in ny was so easy, it was questions like, if you see a red sing in a corner thaty says stop, what shoud you do?
it was a multiple choice common sense test, i got pissed i memorized the whole book.
- shame0
No we don't have a test like that by itself but we do have a couple questions that are similar to HPT's.

Damn, i remember when i was in NY couple years ago and saw the NYDMV book, i laughed my ass off. The questions were so fucking easy, i would've passed the test if i had the chance even without reading the stupid book. Thats what i like about US driving, they have like only ten road signs, we have like over 100 :)
