the new lemon jelly album DVD - I got it yesterday, and it's a audio-visual feast for sure. I had been getting tired of the jelly vibe, but this has re-ignited my glee for their comical beats.

Slipknot - Disasterpiece DVD
2 DVD's, full of options and stuff... Camera control. Supa' sound quality, nice editing, good effects.

usually an artists dvd will only contain an albums worth of stuff and maybe a few more bonus features.
at xmas i got my mum a "best of bowie" dvd which was the same price as other new dvds but it had 40, yes 40! bowie videos on it- VERY impressive!!
i got the scissor sisters dvd from my brother and just got round to watching it last week. it's a gig in brighton then its got like 5 of their videos on it plus a channel 4 documentary about the band and a few short film bits too.
if you're in the UK, pop into Fopp, theyve got a few decent best of NWA ones in for a fiver!!

The live Placebo DVD, Soulmates Never Die, from a show in Paris is unbelievable.
The Cure - Trilogy
2 discs, and it gets a bit long to watch the whole thing as the show features Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers albums all the way through. The venue is amazing, lights, everything.Oasis - Familiar To Millions is pretty good too. Decent extras and the show really captures how amazing it must have been there (at Wembly, I believe)
White Stripes - Blackpool Lights is pretty good, although no extras. The show is gritty, shot on 8mm and 16mm and has a kind of timeless vintage aspect to it.
Coming soon...
A DVD of the last Smashing Pumpkins show at The Metro here in Chicago. It's rumoured...I always knew they would put it out eventually. They played almost 4 hours!
