hair styled and not rattyi make sure that although i'm a tomboy, 99% of my friends are guys and i prefer to buy truck parts than shoes, i always look feminine.

This is a tough call to make, because you would have to be there to see how long said girl spends in front of the mirror.
I saw this girl running around Nordstrom's (dept store) the other day with her mom. When I heard her say "hey Mom" I couldn't believe. The girl was probably 19 but she had GOBS of makeup on and she looked like she was 40 with some "work" done.

my experience is that guys prefer when girls look like they haven't primped. but they want them to look "polished" or what-have-you, aka hot, and they don't know that looking naturally beautiful is actually a result of tons of primping!
