too much vert on that thing, needs to be more shallow. pool coping would be ideal, but use steel if you're in a pinch!
cheers!

ask these folks in case the metal sheeting or veneer does not work for you.

why must all your threads be capitalized?!?!
- blaw0
you could use a bent lamination technique on built-up plywood and then cover the shell with a heavy duty surface laminate.

how sturdy does it have to be? will you be keeping that as a part of your studio or is it just for the photoshoot and can be cheap and thrown away afterward?
- dddc0
has to stay there forevr mayo
has to be strong enough to hold leah on it - INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH

but seriously, you've never built a half pipe? its probably the same theory if you need it strong, cut your template, connect with 2x4's. lay down your ply.

i'll be the nice guy.
go to home depot. they do have something similar to what you're looking for. its for use in bathrooms. however, the shiny side is not smoove, it has a texture to it. flip it over and it the cardboad backing. it's pliable enough and strong enough to bend into the nice shape you're looking for. you'll have to graft a few together and then pain the cardboard side a white finish.

Looks like formica lamenated or painted masonite.
