The samples in the portfolio are too small -- I wanted to see bigger pics with more detail, but clicking on view project didn't take me anywhere. Not done yet?

The design is good. I dont know why you are calling the links Track Listings... dont get that one bit and I thought it was sound I was about to hear.. not webpages.
also too small pictures showing off your work. Remember people... a portfolio is for SHOWING YOUR WORK.. dont rely on a cool site to get you a job... you need to bring your work up front.
Your site is decent but your work in your portfolio seems very bland. Anybody can design those type of sites, you need to put some work in there that shows your uniquness in your design skill.
Also.. the work you put at the top.. is well.. bland.. i would put those lower.. get the unique stuff up top.

I would just clean that up a bit..
aka... the text... .. and lines between work... tighten it up.
& add more work.but ya.. this shows your work nice and gets to the point..
if you want to put news up and all that stuff... start a blog

Words hurt. I think the majority of broken45's work is unique.
Anyone could easily say that your portfolio is bland, which by the way... the navigation is confusing... the anchors and such.
But I do agree that uniqueness is very important. And luckily, 45's clients have been in music... which is typically very open to original design, as opposed to corporations who just want to reinforce colors and their mission statement.

Well thanks everyone, I think. Naw its cool, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The only thing in my site that think is like 24-7 media is the navigation. You will see in my past work I like the worn/distressed look. My temp html site was put up until i get my flash site up.
