doesn't sound like you agree with me, danthon. i'm assuming just by default that there was supposed to be sarcasm in there.
don't know about the bill to bono comparasin. i was speaking more to the issues, not the dollar amount. bono wants to attack America for being so rich and not giving enough, yet we lead the world in AIDS charity. Also, he spoke of how badly we need more money for AIDS but O'reilly proved to him that the need for money to malaria was much greater because 1) far more people in Africa are dying from it and 2) it's actually preventable. Bono paused and then continued his attack on American culture.

im not an island dweller, i live in NYC so i know the drill as far as this country goes, secondly bono is a complete and utter tosser, and thirdly how on earth is your country realising that its a shithole and doing something to fix it when yiz all voted bush back in again and are trying to convince yoursleves that that was a good thing. This country alienates itself more and more every bloody day.....bush bullshitting on in his evangelical speak about how america will defend the world ec etc...the fires of this and that are burning...the rest of the world doesnt want to hear that shit mate, america is fucked at the moment, its more hated now that it was on sept 11 2001, where is the fixing? I dont see anyone fixing any problems....all i see is the gap between the rest of the world and american growing...
