I use Extensis at the moment and it is just shit with all the fonts I have (3000+). Really slow and if I want to browse fonts it just takes forever to preview them.
Anyone use anything else that is quick and simple?

the best organiser for osx is deleting fonts.
sucks but it's true :(

my suitcase used to do the same.
so i just went through all my fonts (2G worth) and culled the shit out of them. i now have an elite set organised by style - suitcase works sweet now.

surely you don't have 3000+ loaded up at once?!? man, your whole system will be paying for that decision!
make sure you have sets loaded (client / job / favs / whatever) and check them that way.
only have loaded what you need at the time.
with all the font sites (and previews of said fonts) online you almost don't need to check your own stash some of the time.

Yeah, i was thinking of buying font agent pro. My fonts have been slowing becoming as messy as my kitchen.

good work kezza - it's amazing how many we collect and never ever use...

I'm down to 200 or so active fonts and I actually find OSX's native FontBook to be fine with that few fonts.
How did you run ANYTHING with 3000 fonts? That's 3000 little pieces of software that have to load everytime you open a program.
