for school we have to make an analisys of an interfade (in the broadest sense ... so a lighter has an interface 2).

it's a 2.4 MB file with no preloader (it's not intended for the web, so i didn't bother) ... thx for the waiting (oh yeah: there's sound 2 ;)

I thought the Zippo animation was very smooth and well rendered. Nicely done.

the new version is better, nice little Zippo dance
- dippy0
Nice. But like the others, I would've wanted to see a better flame animation. Doesn't have to be too complex -- just use a couple of transparent PNGs.
Also, I don't believe you refuel lighters with gasoline -- I think it's butane.
- blackspade0
very nice man,
what did you use to create the zippo and animation ?
- warheros0
zippos use a liquid, not butane. it's fuel basically.

lighter fluid...very zoomy...well done
- bitnik0
the zippo animation was done in 3dsmax ...
and about the flame ... i could've used standard particle systems in combustion to create a real flame, but i thought the vector-style didn't create too much a contrast
thx for the response btw ;) my teachers were impressed when i showed it at the jury

haha,binneweg... ;)
