Someone started to talk to me in Yahoo Messenger and sounded like someone i knew...
than she said hey why dont i show you my pic to refresh my memory.
and now that person used a key stroker to record my password using the site link, now hacked in to my acount..
WHAT TO DO !!!

man that sucks. Years ago someone hacked into my computer through a messenger (I think ICQ) or something.
Got into some of my documents and stuff.
I disconected my computer from the internet for like a week. I was pretty paranoid.

why is your credit card info on your email account?

They can't know your credit card info unless you enabled one-click billing or whatever it's called. They always prompt you for your credit card number if you ever use your Yahoo account to buy stuff.

i figured out how that person took my account..
first it was social engineering..
A new term i learned today..here is the full conversation via my Yahoo Messenger..

cute_kimmy_xx: do you remember who i am?
chain__smoker: not really sorry..

So this is a low level of social engineering where person asks you personal question via social interaction and get your vital info.
I did not reveal anything but that person make me go to that site. Which seem legit. But what was behind the site was response-o-matic.com which gathers form information in my case whic was my Yahoo account info and sends it to the intended email.
i found this out by cracking open the html which lead me to believe that the form lead to this person's email...
sucks.. o well.. hope Yahoo shuts my account down ASAP.......
