Flash question

  I need to build a standalone application that uses Macromedia Flash. It needs to be something like a screensaver application that runs over the users desktop but has a transparent background - meaning the application appears to be overlaying the desktop.

  Anyone know of any software available that allows you to compile a .SWF to do this (and has an install script ect.)?

  I remember looking into this a while ago and I found an app that did it but it was for pc only. If I can drudge up the name i'll post it.
