bono isnt a hypocrit. a hypocrit are the people on mtv during the election like 'hey guys, im x-gamer broady fontana and im like totally a democrat. even though my new wealth totally puts me into the finacial bracket that is ultimately going to make me vote republican, i really think im a democrat. so, go out and vote people. yeah!'
bono has been doing this shit since the 80's and if you are going to pull the 'why doesn't he donate eveything to charity' bit, then look no further than when he donated all the proceeds to arguably u2's biggest single, 'one' to benefit people with AIDS.
i dont believe bono is god. i just direct my prayers to him.

I was just havin a rant about celebrity hypocrisy.
I think Bono is doin and has done good calling for the end of 3rd world debt. But i just thought some of the other actions regarding u2 didn't add up.
I don't expect every celebrity to give all there money away just that they are sure and happy with their actions.

Just wanted to point out a slight problem... Bono's millions aside, do people here really believe he was asked to Davos to advise world leader's on what they should and shouldn't be doing. I personally think there's a bit of 'piggy-backing' going on there.
