I’m working on a project in flash were I have to create a scene of a car driving down the road form the drivers point of view and I can’t use video.
Does anyone have any good references/tips/tricks I could use?

create a scene in 3d max, get rid of all shadows, export as vector, import to flash.
something along those lines i think.

yeah i would try the 3d route also.

you own a ps2?!?
rent/buy san andreas. steal a car, change the view so your seeing it from inside the car. drive around for a few hours running over people and picking up hookers.
make your scene leaving out the hookers and running over people part.

What I want to do is to make a scene using photos for the road, mountains, sky and things like that all on different layers. Each layer moving at a different rate so that it will create a convincing illusion.
In the end it should somewhat look like video. I've seen other multi-photo layer scenes in flash but I don't recall one where you're driveing down the road.

that's a way, but you still need sources for those images and that's either gonna be stop motion or video (or 3d). then again if you use just a couple of images or various images you could create something cool. it's not gonna look realisitic but it might work out into something more interesting.
