is there software, or a way to do it in itunes, where you can fade the tracks together so it sounds more cohesive?

Do you mean for burning or playback? The former, I don't know. THe latter, yes. There's a crossfade preference, or something similar. I think that is what it does. :\

Looks like a pc app that i use called Acid, made by sonic foundry. its goot ya!
