Anyone one have asthma here?
Have you ever tried to stop using your medication to see if you can be independent from it? Like just let the asthma subside? It's not going so well for me. But I hate using medication.

my asthma just went away eventually, it used to be real bad as a wee nipper.
then my powered-up bong lungs were a force to be reckoned with.

yep mine has pretty much gone now. it flaired up when i first got to london but now the pollution (external and self administered) has made my lungs give up complaining, yay!
i don't seem to get it at all at the moment cos i haven't been doing any exercise. hmm.

Yeah. See...I go to school almost everyday and there are many big hills I have to climb. I may have to start taking my medication again.

remember the dreaded Intal and Ventolin before it was aerosol, those little capsules and the fzzz fzzzzz fzzzzzz blowy technique?
- Jaline0

i haven't had my inhaler since my senior year in high school. i've had a couple of attacks since then but i muscled my way out of it
- Jaline0
yeah, that's what I do now but it isn't pleasant.
- vespa0
holy shit, forgot about those!
*retreats into rocking motion remembering weedy asthmatic childhood misery
anyone every have to use The NEBULISER? *shudder
- rasko40
that was the big plastic thingy?
- vespa0
yea it tasted disgusting and made you sound like darth vader and gave you the shakes for a few hours afterwards. i'm gonna have Nebuliser Nightmares tonight.

I used to get ashma attacks, intermittantly. Never went on an inhaler. One time when i was like 13 i had an attack and accidentally electrocuted myself (dont ask) and since then i have never had no troubles.
so go stick your hand in a socket next time if flairs up

Do you guys know about the new one? I have it. It's like a purple circle and you can have 60 puffs. It's all grainy when it goes into you.
- vespa0
sounds like hippy crack!

once during a bad attack (I got taken to hospital) when I was about 6 I asked "Am I going to die today mum?"
what a fucking drama queen
- vespa0
maw poor rasko!
it honestly felt like you were going to die tho when you couldnt breathe right? someone said it was all in my mind and i just can't believe that.
- rasko40
yeah well I'm sure if it was them turning blue from lack of air they might not be so quick with the 'all in your mind' bollocks.
- Jaline0
Yeah, people are always saying that it's in your mind because they don't want to scare you. They don't want to think or say, "You are dying"
Like in that episode of Lost!
- vwsung18t0
ever get sick and while your coughing a lot you start to get an asthma attack while having a hangover?
it sucks.
- moth0
Hmm. I went to Hospital many times - and it is very life threatening... not to scare you anything.
Once I started vomiting too and choaked on it, on top of a very bad attack. I think that was the closest I came to not coming out of it.
The NEBULISER! Made me buzz like coffee. I had them all the time.. I can even remember the "taste" - which was the same as the smell... kinda musty.

Asthma on coke is horrid and I wouldn't reccommend using your salbutimol to often whilst out clubbing
