Please humour me and tell me how to set up pages in illustrator....or am I trippin?

Dividing the artboard to fit a printer's available page sizes is called tiling. You can choose a tiling option in the Setup section of the Print dialog box. (See Using the Print dialog box and Setting setup options.) To view the page tiling boundaries on the artboard, choose View > Show Page Tiling.

what look in the illustrator help files, its there. you can have multi page documents with auto page numbering in illustrator CS...
