So much for the White House being all about job growth. i just was informed at around 4:00EST that that Unisys and the White House could no longer afford to keep me on staff. I was an endangered "sub-contractor" and since there was hardly ever any work for us to do they had to let me go... i out-lasted all the other subcontractors that were let go back in November.
oh, well. back to being unemployed.
now i have a lot of time to start my business.. i just have no income to survive at the moment...
and i get to break the news to my girlfriend tonight....
and i am trying to plan a great valentines for her and not sure if i can afford it now... ;o/

I know the feeling of being broke, I'm BARELY going to make rent this month and my girlfriend and I haven't really done anything for about 6 months.
But it'll turn around. I start a new job on Monday, you'll work it out.

the problem with looking for a new job is that i am so on the verge of my business starting. but i need to survive until then...
the White House job was great because i got paid for 8 hours every day and we were so dead i only did like 1 hour of work. but that gave me a lot of time for working on my business... i doubt i could find another job that i could have so much time in starting my business.. ;0/

not bad mouthing my bosses.. they were the best i ever had... i actually loved working with everyone there... this came from Unisys coorporate office and the Executive Office of the President (EOP)...
i was only hope to get a few more months out of them until my business is closer to starting.

cost a butt load to date a girl in Georgia (3 states away)... but she is so WORTH it all.. so i aint mad.

oh, yea.. this is the kick in the nuts part of it all...
with government jobs you get "escorted" out of the building and you are not allowed to touch your computer once you are notified.
i have 100's of emails i was hoping to save from my girlfriend and myself (very romantic ones) and they are now all lost as well as any personal files on the computer.
that really sucks!...
