If you're not too lofty about what you watch there are quite a few good shows on now, Lost, Arrested Development, Six Feet Under, Desparate Housewives and reality show-wise there's Amazing Race...

it's an evening time soap opera with bunch of beautiful rich people having lots of drama.
i like the OC because sometimes i can't guess what's gonna happen next. other shows are a little too obvious.
with that having been said, i live in cable-less household so my options are limited.

i've been cable free for over 2 years and i like it. if there's anything i really want to watch that's available on cable, i can ask people to TiVo it for me.
and most shows nowadays come out on DVD and i just got netflix.most importantly, i'm not at home enough to justify the need for cable - i probably spend less than 2 hours a week watching something on TV.
it saves me money.

i really don't watch tv. i only watch netflix dvds. but once i catch up with season one of the oc i will watch it weekly.

i like it because it is so ridiculous. i mean, it's basically a soap opera. the problems the characters have are laughable. but it's a welcome break from reality.

kidding, but when i am home and it's on, i watch it. cute girls. they are hot. then North Shore right after that... even better with bikini girls.

It's one of the shows you really had to have watched from the beginning to appreciate it. I mean it is ridiculous but there's actually some pretty witty moments once you get passed the majority of weak dialogue and bad characters.
