hey folks..
i used to be able to 'pick' colour from raster elements in illustrator..like screen shots, and photoshop images..but now suddenly it doesn't seem to work..any idea how to get that functionality back?...i've gotten used to it, and hate not having it anymore..
please help..

Press SHIFT when you use the eyedropper.

much appreciated..'s weird tho...been using this for about a decade, and have been using the eyedropper to grab colour from raster images for much of that time...but i don't ever recall having to use the shift key..
thank god it works tho..

You can change your settings to where you don't have to press SHIFT, too.
Double click on your eyedropper tool & uncheck "Appearance" under "Eyedropper Picks Up."

Her is a question that is probably super easy and I just got really lazy.
When I make a cube in 3D, how do I convert the whole thing to an edibale shape? Like when you hit, 'expand' in pathfinder to make it one shape. I want to be able to freely edit any line.
Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.
