I've never officially learned how to use different typefaces in different contexts. I want to learn when it's best to use a particular font family, what kind of effect it has, what kind of "mood" each font has, a little history of typefaces, etc.
Any advice on which type bibles to read?

i just picked up a recent computer arts magazine which the focus this issue is typography and its really good, gives alot of great tips

That last one is a lot cheaper, does not look bad. I wonder if it covers enough theory/whatever I want to learn (which I'm not even sure of, I just want to learn everything there is about type I guess).
I might also pick up on the computer arts mag, thanks.

Since you live in Groningen, monokai, try De Slegte. They might have some good typo-books for a reasonable price.

Thanks, I know about the Slegte, actually not a bad idea. But there are so many books I've kinda lost oversight. That's why I asked some reccomendations.
Now I'm about to hunt for them.
