What's his background? Education, job history, ie. what things give him the determination to go his way and not take beneficial criticism from you?

backgound hahahhahah
well he was a layout artist/designer at saatchi & saatchi for 10 years (didnt go to school)
was at a few other companies then just decided to go out on his own cus he had a bunch of freelance work
the worst part is he asks me about EVERYTHING, every decidsion, both studid and important
he seems like he needs someone to tell him what to do (like he did when he worked for a company) so hes not responsible

I'm no swami, but my guess is that he grew discontent with being a layout artist/designer and had no hope of advancing to become a CD or AD.
So he went out on his own.
In many cases like that, I bet you that when they start out, in their mind they are always right. It's the "I have the answers, you don't accept them" ideal that makes him think his way is correct, no matter what. And he wouldn't live that down to you in a second. His way is RIGHT, and even though he may lean on you for advice and answers to things he doesn't know about, he is "the boss" "the owner" "the cd" etc.
Disapointing, for you, to say the least. For what you must go through I could care less about this guy ever truly learning his lesson.

well what stops you?
do it, and tell your boss you can make some popular silly virals out of it and you guys can actually make some $$$.
