We got about 1 foot here in Chicago, took my GF and I about 40 minutes to get her car dug out and onto the street. The drifts were up to my knees.

I just watched on the news that some couple in Long Island went ahead with their wedding today anyway. Poor couple. Two thirds of their guests couldn't attend because of the snow.

I don't blame them. Isn't it a curse to cancel a wedding on wedding day for any reason?

they said they didn't cancel because they had guests who came in from NC, Georgia, Greece, etc.
