this is more a comment on blogs in general:
Are they basically little more than an announcement to one and all that you've finally figured out you have something to say?
Because I can't get into them. I've been researching law/legal blogs at work this week and I don't get why they are so talked up, so reccomended from a business perspective...
yet 99.9% of the ones I see either have no comments for the advice (rhetoric) they're offering, or they don't even have the comment function turned on. Isn't that the point of them? I think that when they're thriving and successful, it's when there conversations occur and feedback is given by a viewer.I'm really conflicted by all these legal marketing gurus touting blogs because they place high in search engines, yet in a nutshell they are the same thing as a website with articles, news, etc. posted. I mean, I've sat through a webinar about law firm web sites, with mostly good points until they say, "You really need a blog." But they don't tell you what kind of content is valuable, or how to market it.
They give the author a greater license to talk about anything, which in a business sense, in my opinion, dumbs down whatever advice they're providing because it's treated in a less serious way than the actual web content.
What I'm really trying to say is, who gives a crap about what anyone has to say unless it's Hulk Hogan?

i see ut point
i just get them myselfthey are more to me like journals

- jevad0
Hey for a blog, you've pretty much hit the nail on teh head d00d
- bk_shankz0
It needs more entries though. Only three. Not much for a blog.
- mayo0
I would never mistake that for anything other than a blog. EVER.
- ajxthompson0
ya ok i'm beginning to think designers think too much
has anyone red the entries and yes i will have a lot more in there as time goes byplus my friends will be posting too
