your background isn't set.
i heart punkbusting with my vintage c0c0c0 background setting.
sure beats trying to sleep again.
but the thing does look nice and vintage here, like this...
- Cyberjunkie0
not sure what is wrong with my background...
code and i are merely friends...
do like yer bzzzp thang!
- BZZZP0
just need a color of choice definition for body in your css
i assume:
background: #ffffff;
- BZZZP0
it's a tiny fraction of people, and to you it won't make any difference, but yeah, it should be set...
a note on style... sticking english phrases in sentences from another language comes across as at best comical and at worst provincial. (e.g. " esto es big fat branding")
but your diagram for it rules.
- stewart0
tiny fraction of people... ?
if i look at your page on pc XP and the newest explorer the backgroundcolour is some 40% grey by default if you don't define the exact background colour in the bodytag or css.
- BZZZP0
last i checked pc ie was white by default. hm.
40% grey? really?
- vespa0
some nice work in there but seeing as there's no global nav you should probably make the logo click back to home - it's not great that you have to scroll to get that little menu link.
- stewart0
okay okay, 40% black = grey.
not 40% grey.
- BZZZP0
yeah i understood that, but actual 40% seems really dark for a default color.
- Cyberjunkie0
ok gentlemen!
i think that css should be ok now (thanks!)
a note on style: tagging comical to branding makes for the kind of advertising we are after... so, thanks again?
- BZZZP0
another css gripe are the disappearing links.... dunno, it's always disconcerting, and not in a good way... minor, but yeah...
also the "tipo" list looks like links and i want to click them. that feeling wrong is reinforced by those appearing as example heading further down.
the wood background on work is nice, (esp when you see it side by side for a web and print example) as is the split pane stuff.
i'll agree about the lack of global nav or back link in page (but i did have a language issue with "regresar" for a second, so that could be part of it)
and some good work in there, which doesn't hurt.
- Cyberjunkie0
a blunt lazyness about css:
the disappearing links we like...
the wrong feeling me likes too...
I strongly believe the language is just not doing you any favours... like i said english version should be ready before showing it to you gays... as we have keep it so damn on the verge of chaos in a very very very simple way... it kinda goes with the whole idea of "big fat branding" whch by the way sounds so damn good for spaniards as it has a whole cynical feel about it... that works for us!
- Cyberjunkie0
hahahaha!
before anyone gets... nervous?:
that should have been "show it to you guys" (english speakers) not "you gays" (very misfortunate typing)
- Cyberjunkie0
logo could easily become a back button... does sound good since there is no intention of navigation other than back and forth...
ummm... yeah thanks again!

i feel some tension i this thread... about to blooom into a beautiful rageful flower :P
- BZZZP0
no, i'm too sleepy for rageful flowers flowers (well put)
(see, you can tell i'm falling asleep when i start thinking things are nice)
- Cyberjunkie0
i just think this thread is an example of why the UN cant get anything done besides... mmm... tea or coffee?
if you got any tension from any of my comments...
...this is just a whole language fiasco!
me sorry... me thinks
- Cyberjunkie0
the fact that it is noon here and u guys are shutting down is also pretty funny!
shit! its like the internet all over again today!
ok ok this IS nice:
that should lift the tone!
ryden rocks my boat
