Why is dreamweaver so shit at displaying CSS layouts. I've been working that way for ages now and I am building a site that needs to be updated by somebody that isn't fully web savvy,
Trouble is my code looks the bees in every browser under the sun, but open it up in Dreamweaver and it all turns to shit.

trouble is I love dreamweaver most of the time. But when the CSS gets too tricky it just gives up.
Is it's rendering engine built on Opera 6, I notice that there is a copy of it in the App folder (on OS X)

B0ner not sure about anyone else but I use BBedit and CSSedit on OS X. Then loads of testing on about a zillian browsers to see how it looks.

From what I understand Dreamweaver didn't pay to buy a rendering engine off IE or something like that so they had to create their own.
In preferences you can set your primary, and secondary browser and quick-key so I usually just do that and test in multiple browsers right out of Dreamweaver.

dw sucks, i use bbedit right now, but i am also changing smultron's code to be exactly what i want...
i figure if nobody makes a good editor, i might as well try to make my own until a good one comes along
