Hi. Iam a PC user.
I think my next computer is going to be a Mac.what Mac setup would be better than this? >
Pentium IV - 3.0Ghz
1024Mb DDR RAM Corsair
GeForce4 Ti4200 - 128Mb
Intel Mobo, a good one
2x HD 40Gb SATAi know it would be a G5 but wich one ? with what upgrade?

nope. AB Switch. I can switch from Mac to PC and vice-versa using the same monitor.

Actually, Any G5 tower would be fine. Dual Processor would be ideal. Just get atleast 1 gig of ram and your set. If you do lots of video.. get atleast 1.5
I have a Dual 2.0 at work and it runs very fast. get what you can afford, but spring from the Dual 1.8 at least. And throw in 2 sticks of 512 ram.You need sets of 2 for the G5s. They run in pairs. Dont get Crucial Ram. It is good RAM but for some reason.. the new G5s arent recognizing it. Get Kensington ... but always stay away from PNY..it is crap.
I would say consider the iMac G5, but I hate the fact that if you want to upgrade.. you have to get rid of the monitor too..
Thats why i hate all in ones.

question for Jazx: is that A-B switch similar to a kvm?
I'm about to purchase a Mac mini but need to share the monitor with 2 other pcs (one is Win 95, the other XP)
All systems need to be networked as they will need to share my network laser printer.
Any ideas which kvm or AB is best?
