So I was just checking out flights to Austria and when I was fiddling with the Flightcheck on the RyanAir site, it came back with:
London, Stansted – Graz, Austria = 0.49 GBP
wtf? I'm like, no way! So I book it, thinking its gonna add some weird tax, fee or something, but I get confirmation and everything. Just the flight tax. Kewl! So I'm now flyign to Austria for the price of a pack of gum.

oh wait, is that such a flight where you have to 'some' onboard work...

lmao! keep this thread alive and let us know where this is heading. really want to know if you're gonna fly for 0.49 GBP. :)

some years ago Ryanair had this special offer - from Stockholm to London - 1€
+airport taxes
- cerberoleso0
well, i think you know it already, but to that small price you have to add taxes and stuff, so in the end it's gonna be like 40 euros or something, but it's worth it anyway eheh :)

I flew london stanstead to Oslo Torp (about a 2hr bus ride to Oslo) this christmas for just under £20

ok. now this is getting out of hand. so many people fly so cheap? when are those airplanes going to fall from the sky then? this can't be profitable let alone do some proper maintanance on those jets.

the way it works is not every pays the same for the flight.
- personalityson0
Tripple the price the other way Oslo to London
- rabattski0
i know how it works. but that's not even cheap anymore. it's pretty close to free.
- imakedesign0
depends when you go. it always takes a few mins to work out which two days = cheapest price. you have to be flexible and book well in advance.

used Ryanair when they flew to Ostend and each way was GBP0.01 + taxes. For 2 of us it came to GBP40.02 (or thereabouts!) The parking at Stansted cost us more than the flights!
Overheard an easyJet flight attendent say that best time to book flights is just after midnight

+ sometimes the transport from the airport to the city costs more than plane ticket, for example from frankfurt (hahn) airport to frankfurt the bus ticket was 10€
- rabattski0
0.01?
i just went mental.
- shotoshi0
0.01 each way, for sure. They don't fly to Ostend anymore :(
Really like the Belgian coast and I think this year they have the Beaufort art festival again. Recommended.

afaik the train/bus from Stansted to London is about £20..
Ryanair starts flying from my town in March. I booked tickets to London, for late March. I did the booking on Dec31. I just checked, it's not €19 anymore, it's €39 now and sure it'll go up. Aren't these tickets just as expensive as 'regular airlines' about a week before the flight?

yep
