how do you setup an image gallery like the foilo pages at the collider site to the left?
i mean each image fading in over the last one no matter which you choose.
i'm guessing a simple tweened mclip with a duplicatiion and z-index script but i'm too dim to know for sure nor how to actually do it!
any help appreciated.

yep, the usual links.
thanks but any specifics, even specific tutes at the mentioned sites that people could recommend? searching the work photo, image or gallery gives a massive list of, more often that not, not so useful stuff.
even if someone can tell me i'm kinda on the right wave-length?

the images each load into separate movie clips that are stacked on top of each other. scripting is used to fade relevant image up and previous one down.

imo, the best use it's the usage of 2 separate movieclips. one will fade to 0, and another will fade to 100.
a variable active will tell flash what should be the mc to load the image into > wait until it's loaded > set an interval with some delay [+5secs] and then start over.

if you're fading one up on top of another you dont need to fade the one below down at the same time... you just need to get rid of it once the new one is at 100%

I tought of that, but i had this background behind, that i would like to be seen during the fade process....
