May the "shitty sketchy kindergarten drawings" trend die as it so deservedly should.
Buddhist iconography probably won't be hitting hard. I see more "concept based" marketing campaigns executed online, a la Vodafone futures or the Volvo sites.

plus many other political/religious movements shall be subverted by so-called 'thoughtful' designers, only because their weak dispositions provide their weaknesses as conduits for anti-radical thought whereby they think of themselves as rebellious in the use of such imagery. It is their weakness and keenness to use such imagery in these (if unthought) superficial applications that infact have the adverse effect, making their works meaningless, self serving and infact a plus point for their perceived 'enemies'.

So max, after contradicting yourself, or possibly just making a multi-pos farce...
If I do not call myself a "thoughtful" designer, am I immune to the brow-beating that article delivers? I mean the holier than thou sermon sure sounds great from wherever you copied it, but it's pure shite. Designers thrive on culture, since, after all, it is the basis of who or what we all are, and knowing that enables us to communicate in one way or another.

thats right fate my dear dear son, you are indeed a 'thoughtless' designer as you put it, not that you have no thought for your profession or your client, on the contrary, only that you sacifice age old, meaningful, contextual imagery for your own merely superficial, cosmetic and tertiary needs. Both unsightful of meaning and in your narrow mind inneccesary in context, you use imagery as your tool, you rape and pillage the legacy of generations for a pittance with no genuine acknowledgement of their worth or position amidst history itself, for you deem yourself to be worthy to make such supositions and decisions yourself, when infact you are indeed a shallow and pitiful creature, one whom infact great and even merely good designers would feign to have interest upon your scrawlings. That is the truth and that is the fact. "Thriving on culture' as you put it does not merely mean pillaging pretty pictures from books dear boy, one must ave an understanding and a contaxt at least, I suspect that you rarely have either.
