Illustrator Q

  i cant seem to figure out how to export something im making in illustrator to something that will retain all the layers in fireworks...help me out, please?

  Not sure about Fireworks cause I never use it but you can export a layered Illustrator file as a PSD and it will retain the layers. Then open it up in ImageReady and you are good to go.

  whatever version of illust. you're using you have to save it down to a much earlier version. if you're using illustrator CS you need to choose to export it to an earlier (legacy) version rather than a simple 'save as'.
