On a scale of one to van helsing just how bad is it?

van helsing? now normally i dig very bad movies because very bad can be sometimes very good in a trashy camp way but van hellsing was utter crap. it's not even on any note scale anymore.

I just wanna know if they screened the FF trailer before Elektra, and if it kicked ass.
Haven't seen Elektra (and prolly will rent it when it comes out), but it was kinda clear from the start it would suck....

really? that's cool. i always stay thru the end because i like getting pissed off all the way. sort of mental masochisme. :)
haven't seen elektra yet. love the comic though.
about daredevil, still haven't seen that one but funny enough it got some great reviews in this german underground cultmovie magazine. still have to check out hellboy as well.

I suprised myself by walking out half way through. Usually I have a very low suspension of disbelief / expectation threshhold. I'll watch any old rubbish. However, van helsing sucked the big one.
I liked Hellboy.

writing down hellboy before i forget. always annoying when you're at a videostore and you so forgot what you wanted to see and that way you'll always end up with a) a movie you've already seen but you find that out when you're already at home watching or b) the more than utter crap movie or a & b combined.

bluejam, really? are you serious? i've seen both and the league was way better than van helsing. you can't really compare them since van helsing is so off the crap scale it can't get any worse. i really digged the league btw.

van helsing wasn't a comic book movie, stop comparing it with comic book movies. league of extraordinary gentlemen was such a disappointment. the comic book was so original and good.

Van Helsing has one of the worst endings of all-time. It nearly out-cheesed the ending of 'Frequency', which is REALLY saying something.
'Frequency' nearly washed me out of the cinema on a tidal wave of syrup.

I have to disagree with BlueJam. Although 'League' was an unmitigated steaming pile of dog shite, Van Helsing was far FAR worse.
