Got my site up finally, would love to get some comments,
good or bad ;-)

like it but the layout / grid is kind of chaotic / too loose / too random looking. bring it more into one line / better grid.

I think it's pretty darn kewl.

what rabattski said. and lovely photos!

really nice work. only three things i would think about.
get rid of the music player, or at least have it so when i turn it off it stays off, at the mo it loads up new on each section.
Picture/section transitions are a little harsh.
And whats already been said about tighten up the layout.
well done.

Sweet photos. The grid is, as said already, a bit too loose.
Also I shouldn't have to turn off the background sound every time I change cathegory.

Functionality wise it is pretty solid, move the elements around a bit to give it a better visual look, and you are set. Maybe have the music turned off at the start. I would sooner have control over the music as opposed to you turning it on for me.
nice work.

I like it, however you should do what the previous guys say. I don't really care for the transitions between sections. To me they feel a bit strong maybee a simple fade.

Cool photo's. Yeah!

i love the site.
the photos are ok but i am not feeling it, it seems by the looks of the site i'd expect more.
there's not really a line or theme (or series) of photographs in it, and that's what usually keeps me interested.
a little too random like the tons of photoblogs you see nowadays.
well i have worked for 10 years as a photographer myself but i am missing the same element of series/consistency in my work (mostly because i did press photography) and that's why i never published it online..
i really want to work on series in the future.
but hey, this is only my personal opinion so don't take it that serious.

Really nice photos but the interface elements -- navigation and all the text -- seem to be floating without any structure. Plus I would rethink the fonts used -- the display font and the tiny font you used seem to not work well together.

to make myself more clear, the quality of the photographs is great (stunning even), but when i see one i'd love to see more like it.. and then i see another.. that's my only pet-peeve..

I've got to tell you, I'm listening to Sonic Youth's NYC Ghosts & Flowers, the sing Lightnin', which is especially dirgy and gritty and creepy.
I didn't even realize your site was playing sound, but it fit together with the SY song perfectly. Made it so creepy, the kids talking and stuff and this totally sinister death sounding song.
I'm actually disappointed that your sounds are not in the song!Site looks good was well. Great photos. Every now and then a photo shown as a square is kind of refreshing.

Oh, and your sound on/off button is not working in the Nature section.

I'm all about the uncluttered layouts, but I've got to agree that I felt the various elements (specifically the picture nav) were just sort of stuck there. Maybe move it up with the counter so it's aligned with the category nav?
As far as the audio goes, I vote that it does just that - goes. ;) Can't say I'm a fan of that sort of thing, but if it's to stay it would be great to see a global audio control.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I must realy work on the grid, and it has become very clear to me, that people arfe not wild about the sound, or atleast the sound should be off, but i'll propably take it out all together, but regardless, thanks for the feedback.
