i cant find anything on the site about applecare replacing the power cord, mine is all bent now. do they replace something like this?

i would think not.
I assume it was bent during normal usage?
get creative with the reason it was bent, maybe they'll hook you up... or at least you'll have a fun "tech support" story

I've had that happen to mine and I told them I took really good care of it and over time it just got to the point that it
's not working and if you do have applecare they will replace it for you...well they did for me so, hopefully it will work for you.Or think of some other story that doesn't sound like you did it and they should be able to do it for you.

Had a total nightmare with this.. fucking apple. took lots of phonecalls in the end they sent me the wrong part 4 times!! told me to go to PC world for a replacement where i was laughed at, i brought from the apple website. Had to pay for the delivery. was a week without my powerbook.
i know lots of people who`s power cords have broken within the 1st year, build quality is shit on these.
erm.. but i am sure you will be fine. go buy a new one. much less hassle.

my pb's powerchord has been thru hell and back including several chewing attacks from one of my cats and it's still working.
