the battery life was just for a couple of hours.
thermical/chemical analisys were more important/viable for this mission, and raw data will be parsed in weeks to come.
mars sojourner had a solar panel for longer battery life, something that it's almost useless in Titan.

hahaha, mole...
I was seriously just thinking the same thing.
Why is that every freakin' camera on board these shittly little robo-space-fuckers has the weakest resolution? Don't tell me they didn't have the technology for better imagery 7 years ago either... how the hell did they shoot a 1-ton object in space to land on a moon near saturn and not have a half-way decent poloraid?
plbbthh... like K0na said.. I think it's someone's backyard.
I like how they're commenting that the decent image could show shore lines etc - or it could be a black and white close up of the craters on my ass. YOU CAN'T TELL SHIT w/those images.
weak... and fuck plato - just another douche-bag who talked to much and needed a fulltime job.

hehe...
sorry... it's monday -
I thinks it's purty neat that we're now studying some moon way out in the middle of nowhere. ;)

who's taking the picture?
nice quote, btw.
- dopepope0

oh my if she collected tonnes and tonnes it would look like a terrible sort of genital froth as they are vying for the next place in her twot.
again I am sorry :\

unfittoprint - battery has nothing to do with it. I'm certain they could've used something better - even 7 years ago.
The surface shots of venus in the 70's were clearer. I'm really quite shocked with how poor they are.
Still glad it worked though.

very cool.
they should see if they can land one of those in North Korea.

in a related story a ginormous hunk of metal just parachuted into my backyard and started taking pictures of my birdfeeder. i'll be damned if it doesn't look like the thing in these photos.
someone REALLY screwed the pooch.

When I die I want to be set into an action pose and then fired out into space so that passing aliens and whatnot will see me in a quality pose as I blast past them at billions of miles per hour. Probably a flying pose so they think I am a super being.

lol

chossy, right on!
- grayhood0
choosy will end up a splattered mosquito on some fly saucer somewhere.
- chossy0
or maybe a football pose so If the perspective is correct I might look like a giant blasting a planet across the universe.
