Those of you putting up photo folios online, take a hint from Steve Carty. Don't frickin' over-optimize your jpegs! It's photography, fer cryin out loud. Make it sharp! You'll end up making yourself look good.
Props to Carty. Rock on.

nice work as always.
whats up with all these new names on NT... do i need to become 3cent or something?... i think i missed that memo.
- Carty0
the font was all you nick. thanks.
as for the credits on the pics, its more for clients than anyone else. some people actually want to know who they are.
so until i figure out a different way... this is the format. still workin on steppin it up...
new tweaks weekly.

I'm no expert, but what about putting a little description underneath the photos, perhaps even mention who the shoot was for.

again, I'm no expert, one thing that would be cool, since you do your site in a linear fashion , possibly pre-load the next image in line. That would make for a less choppy image download . Not that it's any big deal.

Thanks Carty, you rawk!

your shooting and images have gotten better and better over the last year or so... and your site as well! great job!
cheers!

OK, who's a javascript guru here?
Ideally you wouldn't want the images to pre-load until the current page has fully rendered else it defeats the purpose.
Does anybody have the javascript to start a preload only after the current page is fully loaded?
