font ripoff!! >> http://www.vormburo.nl/
just kidding!
i love it.
that 'a closer shave' book looks awesome! really really well done!
- graymatter0
thx Janne, it is a common font by Emigre. I wanted it to be very simple as opposed to last years version.
- graymatter0
oh, that was your site...haha
but yours is lower cased.
:-P
- janne0
well your work deserves the minimal environment. it's worth showing off!
the cique du soleil site looks amazing as well. you are a talented one!
- graymatter0
I like your work too. I just wish I could see the work larger. Your illustrations are very nice...very European. haha.
- janne0
i think you laughing is exactly why i prefer them to be so small... ;)
- graymatter0
Not at all. I think your work should also be given a higher priority on teh site. Although I can't read it...Engrish version for us dumb Americans please.
- janne0
i am in the process of revising it anyway. (again).
i am just not that secure about my old work. :''(
- janne0
anyway, thx for the feedback.
your work is a good inspiration for me to push on!
time for bed now.
goodnight!
;)

WOW, awesome work! I love the website.
The only thing I didn't like is the linear navigation - there is no way to jump between pages.
- graymatter0
Thx Milan. I wanted it to be a pure linear presentation so it is presented in the order I want it to be in. I guess I could put a jump to page or something though. Feedback form NTers please.

great work.
i would like to see better nav though work so i could skip, but other than that - great.if i paid for shipping could i get a copy of the fix it hardward book?
great stuff....

awesome work!
but the site!! you need some type navigation system. thumbnails or something so I know how many pieces there are. Details about the work might be nice too. A lot of people seem to be omiting details as of late, I think its really important.
- graymatter0
Yes, Canuck, that seems to be the crit so far. I can come up with one. Should I do thmubnails or text links. As far as info goes, I was thinking I could do a roll over option with info that appears over the piece. I will try to have that ready sometime tomorrow. thx.

Actually, I'm okay with the lack of thumbnails/nav. I like the linear progression of your work (although the stuff earlier on in the progression is way better than the stuff in the back).
My problem is that some of your work (especially the stellar Cirque du Soleil pitch) is over-optimized. It's beautiful work -- don't let compression artifacts mess it up.

clean simple site, and the work is super. the thumbs would help but your work is so good its nice to be surprised with the port images.
it did take me a sec or 2 to fing the nav at the bottom tho..
- graymatter0
Bonseff, you are from Austin right? I think we have talked before. How is Austin as far as work goes...?
- BonSeff0
im not there anymore, now in the dallas area. i want to be back in austin tho. i hear the market there is doing great again

Really, I had a job in Houston but I am going to go to LA, Boston and NY. I have friends in each of those cities and have local resumes ready for them. I need a job, I want to take a break from the stress of freelancing...if that makes any sense :-P
