Does anyone have a registered trademark? Is it worth shelling out the cash for if someone is interested in protecting a brand?

In the process with a client right now. It takes quite a bit of time to hear back.
Is it worth it? In this case yes. It depends on the situation, product and the reach that you want to make with it.

ive spent too much money on two patent applications that are still pending but its all about the long term so if you think you'll be big with the brand. i say its worth it. while hindight is 20/20, it'll be of no use to you

I'm looking at the United States Patent and Trademark site right now. Says it can take 5-6 months, but somtimes years or more depending on legal issues.

Not to mention the $$$ you'll pay.
I found it an expensive avenue.

The site is telling me a little over $350, but I'm sure there is a hidden cost somewhere.
