powerbook buying question

i am in the market to purchase a powerbook. i was waiting untill the mac expo today to see if they were going to upgrade / have a new product line to introduce. seeing as it doesnt look like it... am i safe to purchase one now? or is there still a possiblity or price drops / upgrades / ect. ???

i was like you wondering to buy now or later ... with apple products they're always being upgraded so we always so your computer alway looses value quickly . Just buy one if i was you.
Go 17" if you can afford it.

yikes, it's all subjective. see, id go with the 15".
go to an apple store and see how monstrously huge the 17 is or how just right it is for you.
i wouldnt wait, because yes, apple is always coming out with new upgrades "within a few weeks/months".

There's always gonna be people telling you that there'll be speed bumps within weeks, months or whatever. I say don't give a damn and just buy what you want now. There's no way you're gonna be able to keep up with what they release.
And lastly – I seriously doubt that anyone can tell the difference between the current 1.5 ghz and the "possible" upcomer 1.67 unless there's a major bus speed bump.
