Microsoft and Apple have this in common, they are both trying to separate you from your cash.

-----------------------isn't that what any company does?
it's called making profit.

i'll add this for you...
"and i'll never have anything to talk about"
dude just because mom bought you a dell, you dont have to hold onto it with your every breath.
mac = desktop enjoyment :)
i will never switch thread = such a great statement for a supposed creative person = some apparent pent up aggression at life = no ilife.

Is it wrong that i dont care?
- janne0
ha! very well put, Carty!!

what is the cult-
liking an innovative company
or
hating everything they do just because YOU don't do it.

- abizzyman0
the cult isn't the company - it's those who worship the company.
- ********0
depends on your point of view-
the cult to me is those that hate SOOO much they spend hours letting everyone know.
I "prefer" the company... and I am proud of the products that push the limits.

man. it sounds like puters got an iMac up his ass....
no... seriously, i use a mac and a pc.
And i personally apple has shown the world what great design and a good marketing plan can do for you.
That being said, I like a pc because i can create my own dlls that integrate with the operating system, my websites, and cdroms i create. Just not as easy with a mac. also there are lot more software apps for the pc. and typically pcs are cheaper for a faster machine.
but that fucking mac mini is slick. 500 bucks. only downside is the 2 usbs and 256ram. I know you can upgrade, but shit, WHY would you ship a mac with 256? i might even get one.

exactly, because you are a nerd.(and i mean that in the nicest way possible)
the same discussion would be with someone building his own car vs. buying a new (or used) one. i am the latter, i just want to drive in it.
- AMFA0
oh, i dont take offense. i am nerd. and a designer.
the nerd in me likes the pc.
the designer in me likes the mac. a lot.except, shit, if you have a party, someone could just walk out with your macmini and no one would even see.
- toe_knee0
I hate everyone last one of you motherfuckers
- janne0
hahaha that is true, and my greatest concern.
also how easy could it slip out of your hands when carrying it as opposed to the good old tower-models?
- toe_knee0
i mean that in the nicest possible way
- janne0
thank you, toe-knee. i hate you too, bitch.
